Hi All
Anyone any ideas why a video would be very jerky or stuttery
when rendered and uploaded to youtube or Vimeo?
The original footage looks fine. It seems to be worse when the H itself is moving too.
There is a lot of movement in the video. Farm machinery harvesting.
I have the std. firmware and was shooting in PAL so maybe a conflict here.
I used 30fps and 1/60 where possible with a 2 stop ND on.
Maybe its my machine not up to the task. MS Surface pro 3 with 4Gb ram and i5.

Shoot 1080p60 and all should be fine on Vimeo.

Can you provide a link to the video and we can see what it looks like on different computers?

Going to stick to 1080p/60 this weekend as JC suggested and see how it goes.
Maybe the i5 4Gb just cannot keep up.

Thanks Christoph
I rendered it again in 1080p/30. Big difference in smoothness.
Select 1080p in settings.
Sorry. I went overboard with the FX's
Not going to let youtube adjust the color this time.
Its way over saturated on the old one.

I didn't see any particular jerkiness in the first one (assuming the first one really is still the first one). I'm running an i5 early generation with 8G and plenty of pipe. I use to have jerkiness in some videos until I finally upgraded my video card a couple of weeks ago. I've been knowing a long time I needed to do it but I caught a cheap one on sale (R7 240 Radeon on closeout) at BB for $50. Made all the difference in the world for me. Should have done it 2 years ago in hindsight.

Thanks Christoph

Are you using auto exposure? that can cause those fluctuations. get your exposure settings thne switch to manual so it does not change thru the different lighting, Especially the sky :) Great video By the way :)

I didn't notice any jerkiness when viewing it on my iPhone 6s+.

I know if I try to view YouTube videos at 180p or 720p at 60 fps on computers at work, those computers 'choke' on them and there's lots of jerkiness.
