They are hex screws. They are used in pretty much every country all over the world. Been around for decades.

I use long shaft hex drivers. Sizes are 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 mm.

.. had a bit of a rough weekend & decided the best thing to do was first of all to get the right tools for the job, yeah it might have been easier/faster to run down to home depot, but to be honest I just wanted the right tools from the start, hence why I picked up this set (after watching many U-tube videos on how to take apart my bird), they should be here in a couple days & then the repair process shall begin... best of luck to you!
