warranty services

If you need warranty service, you will contact Yuneec CS, and follow their instructions for returns. They may tell you to return it to BestBuy or they may specify other procedures regarding coverage. Every case is different.

does best buy service typhoons under warranty from other sellers, or just from them? i know they would service from other sellers for a price, but what about free warranty services?

Like @Eagle's Eye Video said, In the end it will end up at YUNEEC.

You are also just a stone’s throw from KAV (KenAVision) which is the major repair center for Yuneec. It’s in KC.

I have no idea, but it will be likely that you cannot get "walk-in" service at KAV... you might have an opportunity to dropoff and pickup, but the process would still be handled through Yuneec CS.

Initially you do not take your aircraft anywhere. You will contact Yuneec Customer service. See the following thread:

Getting in Touch with Yuneec Just Got Easier

Once you get a hold of them, you will be given a case number and instuctions on retrieving log files. You will provide them with any documentation they request including all log files. They will review... and let you know the determination of whether there was a system failure in either the hardware or firmware. Usually, pilots will post their log files here as well and there are several members here who are experienced in reading those logs. However Yuneec will make the final decision on coverage.

If they decide the incident is covered, you will be given instructions regarding repair and/or replacement. If they determine that pilot error was the cause, you will be given a repair and/or replacement estimate which you can make a decision on to accept or not.
