I just received a new (to me) Typhoon H and while unpacking it I noticed some "different" things about it, compared to the photos and descriptions of other Typhoons. First, it has two of the after market batteries that take the adapter. But they have two different plugs and only one fits the adapter. Plus, there is no charger for these. How do I charge them? Secondly, on top of the H is is small black box that has no markings, access points or anything. When the top popped off (with a little prying I saw this white electronic square. I pulled a little and it came off the drone and I saw it was attached by wires that when into the top of the drone. What is this? Is it an RID add on? How would I get its serial number so I can register with FAA?

You are right. It's the GPS Module. What difference does that make between H with it or without it?
Not sure the question. Not sure if you mean with or without GPS Module or if you mean with or without the GPS tower modification.
All Typhoon H drones have a GPS module. Yours just has a modified "GPS Tower" intended to give a little more distance between the GPS module and the other electronics. But it's the same GPS module in basically the same location as a standard Typhoon H arrangement.
Photos of the batteries and their connectors will help in advising you further. You need to purchase a charger that handles charging various types of LiPo batteries. Most come with a variety of connectors and balance boards.
as for the charging of the batteries... I purchased a Tenergy TB6AC to charge all my batteries... I have a Typhoon H along with two original Q-500's... works with all of them...
you may have to charge it the same way you do a firmware update thru the side port on the drone. its a regular usb, not a usb c. That will probably take a couple of days to charge though .........the square is a relocated gps for better signal reception. You may be able to find a charger on ebay. I'd look for someone parting a wrecked one out and get as many parts as you can

The USB port on the Typhoon H is comms only. You cannot charge the batteries that way
There are many sources for a good multicharger including eBay, but “joking” about charging via the USB port is misleading and we try to keep information as truthful as possible on the forum.Like i said Ebay
Not sure what battery or what drone you are talking about. But as @DoomMeister said, you cannot charge the Typhoon H flight battery through the USB port on the side of the drone. It doesn't matter what kind of charger you use, that method will not work.Like i said Ebay
