I use the cheap ones I got from WalMart for at the time of the holidays was 2 dollars manufactured by Onn. Thy still seem to sell around 5 dollars.
Yes you still need to use the controller since the glasses have no motion sensors on it and I am not sure if you could even use that type. the Breeze has to have both WiFi and Bluetooth active to use any glasses.I own 2 of the drones and have been flying them for about a year now. I have had a few crashes due to my own recklessness, none of which was with the glasses though
You have to use the Breeze controller for FPV use as the device Breeze Cam is running on is used to display the image. The goggles need to be Google Cardboard compliant to work for FPV mode.
