To all drone pilots I have a question. What is the maximum wind speed conditions for not flying a drone? I have a huge flying field (approximately 60 acres) for flying my new Typhoon Q500+4K.

I have not flown this quad yet as I have been avoiding the huge clouds of tree pollen so as not to compromise any fly away or loss of GPS connection from the ST10+ to the 4K.

What I wish to know is if winds of 10+ mph can create adverse flying conditions to the point that there is the potential or possibility of losing control of my drone. I don't relish having it crash or seeing the ESC's be compromised.

I would very much appreciate any advice from my experienced drone pilots.

I hae flown my 4K in 40 Km (25 mph) winds. It handled it just fine, much better that I expected. That being said, I would not recommend flying in any winds more than about 12 MPH. Landing is tricky in wind. Land into the wind.
