Is Yuneec H520E drone compatible with the MicaSense RedEdge-M multispectral sensor—specifically in terms of mounting, power supply, and camera triggering.

Hi,
Short answer is - it is not.
Yet it is possible to mount it on H520e. This requires e.g. 3d printed mounting kits for:
1) RedEdge camera
2) sunlight sensor
3) power bank

See attached picture showing the setup which I have used for a few years with Parrot Sequoia.

As for the mission planning - the simplest is to plan a standard mission for e90 in ST16e and than set RedEdge parameters using its WiFi interface on a tablet using speed and alt. set in ST16E and overlap recommended for RedEdge.

Thank you very much for the response!
Do you have any recommendations for drone selection? I already have a RedEdge camera and a limited budget (around $5,000), so I’m trying to find the most suitable and cost-effective drone for integration. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

H520/520E could definitely do the job. Otherwise M300 second hand.

I can offer H520 with lots of accessories, 10 batteries etc: Yuneec H520 with extras for sale

Don't know how practical it would be I'm in Poland.
