Yuneec H600

Hello, This bird is still on preorder and is not backwards compatible so you will be buying new cameras and still no mechanical shutter as of now.
E45S which is a 45 MP RGB camera with mechanical shutter is shown to be compatible. Yet it is **** expensive. Sony's ILX-LR1 61MP with a 3 axis gimbal is cheaper. This is without a lens but offers more MPx and a wider ISO range.
Agree that Yuneec needs to improve on RGB and multispectral payloads.

No, its not a game changer because for europa you need a cx class, and at this moment the H600 dont have a Cx Label. so for europa its crap
Will it not have the label?
Europe is a big market so I doubt Yuneec can neglect it. Especially when there is a growing threat for Chinase manufacturers in US.
For me a real question is whether H600 will offer payloads which will make it match competitors and let us do jobs.
E90 is a crap from a mapping point of view. It has a rolling shutter which is not optimal for mapping and furthermore time interval between two pictures is a nightmare (1,5 second!).
Will a PRO version change it?

How about support?

Anyone flew this bird? Pls. share your thoughts.
I do have the new H600, It is quite an upgrade for me, from 8 yr old H model. It is equipped with E20tvx camera. The 520s are being phased out (Wal Mart is selling them online). If Yuneec can keep the supply chain going, the H600 can definitely be a viable competitor in the enterprise market especially for Public service agencies. I only have a couple of flights at this time, seems stable in hover, responsive, really nice controller, and thermal camera is very nice.

YES, I've had one since November, it flies o.k., fairly stable in 15-20mph wind. Best feature is E20tx thermal camera, controller is good upgrade from st -16. To be honest, I've only flow it a few times, only one battery, and they are having issues with new ones. Game changer? Not for me, support and accessories are non-existent, I made a very hasty decision on this purchase I now regret. I will be putting it up for sale in a couple of weeks.

Seeing how vertigo drones posted this,
Then ran off with tens of thousands maybe hundreds this past year.
Makes me wonder if they were affiliated or partially owned by Yuneec. The timing also was months before the heavy crackdown and bans for DJI as well as all other drone parts.
Less than 4 months after they went dark china also began restricting china’s businesses by not allowing exports with specific drone parts.

The connection is odd, as well as a lot of the previous posts and comments and everything I’ve dig up while learning about vertigo….

Just figured I’d throw it out there, nice video though!

Vertigo Drones were heavy into DJI drones as well as Yuneec. They were a supplier of Yuneec drones before Yuneec USA went belly up. At that time they ended up being a service center for Yuneec and changed to selling only the high end Yuneec aircraft systems. John Mitchell ended up getting only the Legacy aircraft service accreditation after buying a lot of the auctioned stock from the Yuneec service center in Kansas City that had to declare bankruptcy when Yuneec defaulted on a lot of warranty repairs.
