has anyone setup the Aux button with a function- I was considering setting it as a temporary HOME button it would be a way of confirming the orientation of the craft

You could remap it to do the same thing as the home switch but it could be quite a pain.

Many of us have asked for to be used as a GPS on/off.

Label it "Panic Button" When all else fails push the button. It doesn't do anything but it might get people to let go of the sticks when they get into trouble. The H just stops in place when they do that
