Do you get the 'green arrow' without the camera on the H?

Questions in the title of the post, anyone know the answer?

I have decided that from now on following any calibrations, updates etc I am going to flight test without the camera.

Remove the camera and place it in angle mode and fly a couple feet. Never done that myself so I don't know the answer.

Really don't know why you want to remove the camera; heck, they almost give those things away.

Having bought one from Carolina after I did something dumb, you can almost obtain a BnF H for less than a separate camera...
