LED Status Question

I get about a 3 second solid green and a one second white in Safe Mode which I believe is correct.

In Angle Mode I get a 3 second solid purple and a one second white (have numerous satellites and GPS lock) . Seems like I should be getting a solid purple.

Any ideas why I'm not getting the solid purple?
