SD CARD FILES LOST

What files are you missing ?
Normally the micro-sd from yuneec for the Q500 is empty.

Every time I remove the pictures there is a set of files on there. one time I took them of card and pasted on my desktop and my drone wouldn't communicate until I put the files back onto ad card?

It is possible you need a file named

wireless.conf

source:

##### Wifi configuration file ##########################################
# WPA Passphrase (8 ~ 63 characters)
AP_PASSWD=1234567890

In a newby could you help with specific instructions or a link?

I'm a beginner. I'm trying to use it today. Any chance to send me the files in a attachment?
or instructions on how to name a file?

Create a folder named: MISC
Create a textfile with this text:

##### Wifi configuration file ##########################################
# WPA Passphrase (8 ~ 63 characters)
AP_PASSWD=1234567890

name the file wireless.conf

Put the wireless.conf into the folder MISC
Copy the folder with the file back to your Micro-SD-Card

Does your computer have a card reader?
Easier to copy files around using a card reader than trying to use USB. Make a folder on your desk top. Place the required files into that folder. Every time you get a new card, you know right where to find the files to copy over.

If things are working correctly, you don't need to do any of that and the file will be set to the card when you boot the bird.
That said,
Copy the text just as Webster posted it and paste it to the new text file you created called "Wireless.conf".
Copy the folder named "Misc" to the card and insert the card in the camera and reboot.
You don't need the password unless your asked for it but needs to be included in the text.
The password if needed is "1234567890"

Good luck,
Jafo

How do I get the files that were on there to new card? Link?
When I inserted new cards, it automatically added the files.
I just bought a 64 gb sd card and changed it from exfat to fat 32 so i could watch videos and view pictures on my 4k tv and it put the files on the card when i booted up the bird.
