    Typhoon H Plus

The UK office are absolutely fantastic..... BUT The Chinese office work on Yuneec Time... There are not seven days in a week or 30 days in a month in Yuneec time! When China says a week it's generally 6 weeks! :-)

Flying the H520 with the standard ST16 (not the S)

Is it possible that you could try 'flying it' with the ST16 and leave the props off... See if it starts up and then try both sticks... I know it will go in to five motor mode but that should be enough to say it works.... I have an ST12 that I was told categorically won't work with the Typhoon...

Flying the H520 with the standard ST16 (not the S)

Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I was unable to find a definitive answer... Can you fly the H520 with the original ST16 Controller that was supplied with the original Typhoon H (480) ? Or can you use the original ST16 to control the camera as a second controller?

    Typhoon H Plus

I will be delighted if I am wrong but my sources tell me that it is not expected in the UK for at least another few weeks. I understand that the 5th May was a date that was around a week after the stocks were due to hit the UK warehouse so the dealers would get them around a week later. I...

    steady grip

That looks like it's a good price as it also includes a Lipo battery too. It absolutely eats batteries for breakfast lunch and dinner! However, the wifi connection is done between phone and the CGO camera. There is no telemetry in the grip at all. It seems a little odd that the two wouldn't...

    steady grip

I bought mine from Yuneec in the UK. It wasn't much. I would just point out that if have the American firmware installed on your camera then I can't get it to work with my phone but it would probably work with the ST16. The advantage of using the American camera firmware is the signal doesn't...

Help please - H crash landed

I'm almost sure these are the correct files. I checked that the channel settings look the same as the image you uploaded too. Many thanks for your help. I took a video just after it happened on my phone which it behaves in a similar fashion. If you want me to upload it to vimeo then let me know...

Help please - H crash landed

The dampers appear to all be in place. The gimbal spins freely around but you can see its bent on the image above. I'll give Yuneec a call on Monday in the UK and hopefully it can repaired under warranty.

Help please - H crash landed

My H480 dropped from around ten metres today. No apparent reason and then when it hit the ground it bounced back up and kept on flying... Very limited damage but the following is wrong with it : The landing gear will retract only one in flight now. It won't go back down. I have to catch land...

Another one just fallen from the sky....

My post was pretty clear. Don't shoot the messenger. If you are in any doubt whether my post is accurate then give the CAA a call. Their UAV department is pretty easy to get through to. As stated above The CAA's stance is that it is the law that you must not endanger other aircraft. Their...

Another one just fallen from the sky....

Just to clarify for anybody in the UK. This has come directly from the CAA. There is indeed a 400 feet height limit placed on all model aircraft unless you have a specific permission to fly over the 400 feet in a particular instance. Although Articles 94 / 95 do not specifically state the 400...

Another one just fallen from the sky....

Apologies for taking this off topic but according to the link this is quite right, however numerous sources quote the limit of all flights to be 400 feet in the UK and this includes the dronecode website that is made by NATS and the CAA. But the actual regulation does indeed seem to state that...
