    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

Ah man I hope not! The Pelican I have is the ideal size, and it was free lol but more capacity wouldn't hurt!

    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

Much appreciated sir! Hopefully I can find a better way to drop the H into the Pelican to make room for the monitor to mount inside of the lid. I'm thinking of getting a custom blowmolded shell - just need to find the right avenue.

    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

I'll take a 19in monitor over a 12in monitor. Precisely why I'm not using a tablet. And, I have the potential to mount this in my Pelican. Not to mention the Cgo app is pretty darn buggy.

I would disagree that simply adding an inverter is "a lot." But to each their own.

    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

The most important note that I mistakenly left out is that my takeoff point is roughly 15m away from the vehicle when I fly at home, and landing is typically farther away so I can land in a larger grass area.

Not that I want to turn this into a different type of thread, but the EMF interference is very low on modern vehicles using a fiberglass body, such as the one pictured. I've metered EMF resistance (even from inside the car with the ST16) and it is minimal. Somewhere around >1.5v/m when the...

    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

It was extremely overcast today so I didnt really need one - but assuming you're away from your vehicle, you could fashion one out of polystyrene and have it velcro to the monitor, which is my next step. I'll likely take one long piece, cut perforations at the bend points, and attach the...

    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

Was thinking about fitting this into my Pelican I use to house the drone and all peripherals by removing the monitor feet, mounting to the inside of the lid, and storing the inverter in the extra foam by plucking another hole, buuuuut...the stock foam that the H came in rides too high for the...

    Total portability with external monitor/inverter

Using the Ego Nexus Escape (120vac/150w) to power an external monitor (115vac/35w) connected to the yuneec ST16 Ground station using HDMI for the Typhoon H. Ego inverter uses a 56v outdoor power equipment battery and a separate inverter. You can charge this up and use it literally anywhere.

Drone Went Rogue. Crashed Twice. Don't know what to do.

After reading through this thread, it is indeed a bit upsetting to me that the bird crashed so soon after the pilot first flew it. Detail must be paid attention to when flying the H, however Yuneec does not elude to that. As many have said, Yuneec has poor documentation- I agree.. Myself...

Do you suffer from lack of endurance?

On my battery that only has about 10 flights to its credit, I'm clocking around 16min, running it pretty mellow. If I'm really lead footing it, I lose a solid 3-4mins. This is with it at around 350ft altitude, horsing around, flying consistently around 10-12mph g/s

    Pelican Hard Case (#1620)

Pelican 1650 with stock foam inserted leaves lots of room for goodies too! Added a mini Pelican for the peripherals.

    Cases for the H

The Pelicans are a great option- waterproof, great pressure control, and shockproof to the max...not to mention the fact that they're just quality in general. What I love most about my setup is that I was able to utilize the stock hard foam from my H box and simply drop it into the Pelican foam...

    Drone Cases

Has anyone else improvised with their case situation? My Typhoon came in the box, so I really wanted to get my investment into something a bit more robust. I revived an old Pelican 1650, cut the foam accordingly (removed some from the top too, due to clearance issues), and saved the hard foam...
