I got my first H pro from .cat .. no problems as it was billed as a factory overhaul. worked perfect out of the box ( landing gear need a bit of coaxing but works good now ) .

Interesting. I did a calibration at my kitchen table with out any problems , about 6 feet from the fridge and 8 feet from the ss sink and maybe 15 ft from the range. The lights flashed but it seemed to take , tried my second H with the same and got the same results . Other than the lights , is...

The refurbished H Pro I bought has the bulb type dampeners. Does It mean it is not a Pro or just has the wrong dampeners from the refurb? and if so , where can I get the correct ones? The box says it is a + cam / Pro.

So do these LiPo batteries need to be discharge down like the older NiCad type and stored half empty with charging up the day of use? If so is there anyone one that offers a charge/discharge station … back in the day , racing RC 1/12th scale we made sure to discharge the packs down to min volt...

Indeed , as a NRA Range Master , I encourage this action to many . I was not sure about the calibration but even daily when I don't fly it , I go thru the process of initializing , some what like dry firing to gain technique and confidence. Thank for the reply , the knowledge here is top shelf !

back in the 70's, using NiCad for competition RC cars, when testing gear changes, one used digital charger and multi meter to determine use times vs speed and longevity of charge. we use to get boxes of the1.2 volt , wire them up and then test to time and V and M to see which would give the best...
