Why not walk into Best buy and try a few models? Seems they have good assortment in several price ranges and have good number of as new returns. They sell the Typhoon though the sales staff are very limited in knowledge on UAVs

You said your filming boats. How much traffic? I know of some boats having some heavy duty electronics on board for navigation and is it possible someone cranked up something to interfere with the H's telemetry?

Considering how many have problems outside, bringing one inside multiplies the danger IMO. The Phantom P3a and P3P both have sonic emitters to aid in low flight and inside operation. I will be trying to watch what other think but I will keep mine outside.

The release of the P4 has been making prices of the other P series fall and its been reviewed well so far. Yuneec has a big shoe to fill to match. Slow to release is not helping.

The Typhoon is a lot of bird. Finally been decent weather in my area to get some decent air time. Found a very good deal on a P3a so have some real one on one. The Yuneec is more forgiving and no hassles with separate tablets.
