Anyone in the Birmingham Al area?

Looking to meet up with some fellow FAA 107 remote pilots to drone some local scenic areas; Sloss Furnace (paid but a very small fee), the Ensley steel site etc. It has been hard to find a mature crowd around here, mostly kids and young adults with very careless attitudes.

Any chance of doing a video of the Vulcan statue, if it is still in existence. That used to be a highlight of passing through Birmingham when I was a kid. Craning our necks at the car windows to get a glimpse of the statue while Dad drove on the twisty two lane highway 1960’s style.
