So, after a month of wrangling with Yuneec CS about my ST16, (no judgement; just sayin'), I finally received a new controller.
(been keeping sharp in the meantime with an Inductrix. Way too much fun)
Upgraded firmware on both controller and aircraft; pretty painless.
Changed max altitude through GUI (actually I did this a couple days ago, but no controller to test it)
3 flights (no camera). 1 in the afternoon, 2 after dark (don't tell anyone, K?).
Flight 1, Gear up; GPS off; fly like **** and try to avoid the trees. No issues. Flies great.
Flight 2, Went over 300 meters AGL, so I guess that's figured out.
Flight 3, Battery check. Flew (very) aggressively down to 13.6 volts. Then flew some more. Twice.
In my opinion: stop obsessing about battery voltage and go fly!
