Battery time

I have been going back and forth retraining myself both with the q500 and the h. Keeping as sharp as possible flying both.
One of the q500 batteries has not been used since March because I left it in a place I forgot about after getting rid of some puffers. I must have charged it and forgot.
I plugged it into the charger thinking it was super low and it held a steady green light. Huh? I used it and got a long flight and the warning signal still didn't come on. It finally did. The battery never leaked after that long period of time. Is this strange?

Not really unusual Peter, but doing so can shorten the useful lifetime of the battery pack. It will most likely be just fine. Just give your batteries proper care and enjoy flying.
