best lens filters/ video editing software

what would everyone recommend for sunrise/sunset videos/pics?
also what video editing program are you using?

I use Lightworks, which is free and available on Windows/Mac/Linux. It's a full editor, so fairly complicated, but you can do everything you could want with it:

So far I've only used the stock lens/filters, so can't make any recommendations for those. It's still possible to get some very nice sunrise pictures though:
