hi so my last few flights i have been having problems started with my camera being on a slant and not levelling out
now i am experiencing shakes if i try to fly to fast with the camera at 45% ( or facing front and i am flying side ways )
video is set to private so if you cant see ill change to unlisted not sure how youtube private setting works

my gimbal mounts / dampers are fine but i have now got replacements with a new plate

For the purposes of this board, yes set the video to unlisted.

If you still have this after replacing the dampers, try running the gimbal calibration. Then power cycle the TH and see if the problem is corrected.

i am going to change the mounting plate ( camera side ) with new dampers but they are fine
but you have mentioned one thing i forgot to add when doing a camera calibration there is very little movement compared to the first time i did it and any videos showing the calibration
I will rebind in the morning and see what happens with a new calibration

Do you have the round ball dampeners or the slightly longer ribbed variety. If you have the ball type check the wiring for chafing.

The lesser movement during calibration sounds worrisome to me. Sounds as if a gimbal motor may be going bad.

round ball so i can check the wires when i change the plate and dampers
and yes this is what i am worried about is that the motors are failing

strange things going on rebound the camera now i am getting obs failed realsence not detected
and camera calibration is not doing anything

so before i changed the mount and dampers i used compressed air around all camera motors and cleaned the connections on both sides of the mount with contact cleaner then took it for a test flight ( much smother but still with some problems )
have now changed the plate and dampers all wiring is good very clean ( like new ) no chafing
have not put the damper cover back on as i think this can cause some problems
i am still having problems not as bad as i was but think that the back motor ( levelling of the camera ) could be bad can these be replaced ???

just sorting a video to give a demo of how its looking

strange how its fine flying 1 way then coming back is not good at all
The video doesn't tell the whole story. If you were viewing the drone fro an external position you what see it leaning substantially. The camera is doing its best to keep the view level. I'm pretty sure at some point the gimbal meets some resistance and either locks at an angle or jerks in becoming free. I had a similar problem and found that I could straighten the view by some quick sideways commands. As it was under warranty I had it repaired by KAV. If it was out of warranty I would have disassembled and looked for something preventing free movement of the gimbal through out its range.

I would look for debris lodged between the camera and gimbal components. It only takes a partial blade of grass or seed chaff to foul it.

i have been working with this for 3 weeks trying to get to the bottom of the problem but it all moves freely until i fly thinking ill have to do a strip down like you and @PatR are suggesting
