Camera Pointing

How do you turn the camera down to shoot straight below the aircraft?

Hi there. The replies you received are accurate, although you may see them as being not helpful, or even "who the **** are you to tell me............"

You are asking a very basic question and some very experienced users have given you advice that you should already have done. There are wayyyyyy too many people thinking they can just take these machines out without any knowledge. Your question indicates you have not read the manual, which further indicates you may not have flown anything before. This happens over and over again, and puts this as a hobby and/or profession under more scrutiny from the general public and regulating authorities.
So hopefully you understand why you received those replies. Wherever you are, read the regulations, read the manual many times, gather all the info on these forums, practice on something less dangerous, and then you should be ready and able to direct the camera, and fly safely.
Cheers

Wow, that was a frosty response! Did you find an answer?

They were deserved.

The left slider on the ST-16 controls gimbal tilt. That the slider function was unknown indicated the OP has failed to read the instructions or watch any publicly available videos referencing the ST-16. The OP probably hasn't bothered to explore the control functions of the ST-16 while inside the safe confines of his home. Because of the question it might be presumed none of the other set up requirements for a new H would not be followed.

Because of the most basic requirement to read the instructions prior to using the H, future posts from the OP would likely be referencing numerous problems being experienced with the H, and most, if not all, of which would be caused by failure to follow instructions and procedures. We see, and can reference this much too often in multirotor threads where the desire to have and use a product outweighs the desire to review provided documentation for the product prior to use. If they take a few minutes, or even an entire day, to read the instructions they have a much better chance of being successful in selecting a control function and using it properly in the field. That also contributes to flight safety and increases the odds of the user getting more than a single flight from their new expensive toy. Who will be there to hold their hand once they get out and start flying?

Just in case the OP has an aversion to using the paper Quick Start Guide that came with the H I've attached a copy of it to this post for review. For those unaware, there is also a copy of it stored on the SD card that came with your H, along with a hard copy inside the large black envelope that contains the H documentation package. The tools are there but they have to be used to serve useful purpose.
