Yes, but you can't fly in too many obstacles, nor fly too far, otherwise you might damage it.

That's what VLOS is for shouldn't rely on the camera, the lag might catch you out, use your eyes and experience, study your surroundings.

Also note that without the camera, you also lose the navigation aid of the Green Arrow.
