Yeah, you already showed this image and I'll say again that I think this looks great. I would not change my lens based on this shot. Would like to see some video and more than just this shot but yeah, this looks better than most, including mine. My second one still hasn't seen the air yet but when I do, if I have a quality image and video, I wouldn't mess with it. As it stands, I use the H for flying and occasionally a picture if its an amazing shot and I happen to be flying it. But in the meantime, right now I am getting much better images from my P4, Inspire with x5 and x3 or even my P3P if I am being honest. I love flying it. It's a wholly different experience but that wore off pretty quick so my first one has been relegated to pretty much no use and the second one I hope is better. It was after all, sent to me for review by Yuneec so I would hope they would send me a good one. Maybe it's got a great image. Who knows? If not, I'm hoping that a lens replacement will make this a serviceable unit.I may not want to fiddle with my stock lens. It seems pretty decent to me. Check out this picture of trees and Mt. Rainier at 400 ft. elev. and give me your opinion.
So if my stock lens provided an image like that (including video), I wouldn't touch it.
As soon as I send the second one in the air (probably this weekend in Carlsbad), I'll post my results and you guys can tell me what you think.
What are you guys finding the best image quality at? What settings? I NEVER ask people about settings but I'm go ahead and ask in this situation as I can't get a very good looking image out of my first H no matter what I do.
First impressions... modified lens 3.97mm f/2.8 82d HFOV from Peau including lens holder.
Color profile: Natural
White balance: Sunset
ISO:800 / Shutter speed: 1/30 - 25fps
More coming soon, I appreciate your comments.
Nice stuff. Dusseldorf is where the inventors of electronic dance music are from. Kraftwerk (been around since 1967) and I just saw them at the Hollywood Bowl last week.
