So I’ve acquired the Q500 and it seems as if there are no apps left for it on iOS. Does anyone have the CGO or CGO3 app for iOS they can make a copy of and any other apps for the Q500

I have all of Yuneec's iOS apps on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I can back them up via iTunes... but only for my own use.
I haven't found a way yet to back them up so that I can share them with others.

So my brother knows how to but I’m almost positive that it takes jails breaking the iphone

so check out iMazing. It is something you should be able to pull the .ipa from the iPhone. Then you should be able to share the ipa. My brother would know the exact process but I think if you google it YouTube explains how to pretty well.

This statement is incorrect. While iMazing can export .ipa files, it can only do so for apps that are still available in the App Store or appear in your purchase history. It cannot “download” an app’s IPA from your iPhone if that app has been removed from the App Store. Also, an IPA is always tied to your Apple ID and cannot be shared.

Ok while Imazing may not b able to do so you also are incorrect. There are repositories of all kinds of IPA’s that are no longer on the Apple Store that one can sideload regardless of Apple ID. So I thank you for pointing out that iMazing is insufficient but it is possible to clone it and share it. Many other apps have been done as such and shared to others in iOS. If you have an idea as to how to solve this problem altogether please feel free to help.

Welcome to the forum! Just to clarify and back up Enrico’s point—he is actually completely correct regarding how official tools like iMazing operate.
You make a fair point that third-party repositories and sideloading exist as a workaround. However, Enrico was just explaining the strict limitations of official, unmodified App Store files, which are indeed locked to an Apple ID.
It can be easy for tone to get lost in text, but since everyone here volunteers their free time to help out, we always want to make sure our helpful members feel appreciated. Hopefully, between Enrico's info on official files and your mention of sideloading, we can find a solution that works for you!

Give the vlc app a go, i think it works for all cameras that transmit Wi-Fi, on the search tab here on the form search for vlc , with the amount of informative posts here you will always find something at least to steer you in the right direction.
Soon you might be adding information yourself that will help others also in future, it’s a very good form with fantastic members 😉
