Diverting video feed from ST10+ to phone/tablet?

Since adding devices to receive the video feed increases video lag, is it possible to disable the ST10+'s reception entirely and divert it instead to the phone/tablet app? Theoretically, this should be no more laggy than the ST10+ itself. Theoretically. Maybe.

Yes, you can do that by creating a new model, give it a name and only bind the Q. Then you can connect the phone to the camera but you probably won't have any control over the tilt. Since the antenna on the phone is small, the video range will probably be short.
 
Hmm. Then if the camera defaults to pointing forward and not down, it should be tolerable, at least.

An older phone or device with a port for an antenna might help.
 
Camera tilt will still be available because it is controlled separately. This is why the steadygrip has the wheel to do that.
 
I think camera tilt is using RC channel, not Wifi. If i lost video signal - no preview at st10+, camera still can be tilting.
