A couple of flights in far from ideal lighting conditions. Footage came out far better than I expected, though.

Yes, Dolly zoom. You get the effect by zooming in on the foreground while the aircraft is moving away at a slightly faster rate than the zoom thereby having the foreground still receding while the background gets larger, so to speak.
