I am trying to fly inside a medal building. But the drone will not turn on as it keeps lookig for the GPS. Is there a way to urn the GPS off on the Typhoon H Plus.

Set Manual to and GPS switch on off then you can start the motors and fly in manual mode. You don't have any position support and must do it by yourself.
After reboot you must set this again.

Go to aircraft settings

scroll down to find the settings for the flight mode.

You should be an experienced pilot and have trained this before.

In addition to the reply by @h-elsner , if your H+ has the RealSense module you can force it to IPS mode for indoor flight and have some positioning assistance. Obstacle Avoidance must be enabled then hold the left stick down and left while quickly toggling the Flight Mode switch between Angle and RTH until the Mode Indicator displays IPS and GPS changes to Ready (about 4 or 5 toggles ending in Angle Mode). You will then be able to arm the motors.
