My E50 camera doesn't record gps metadata in DNG files. It does record the gps data in jpeg files. If I shoot both DNG and jpeg together, only the jpeg records the gps location. I've done firmware updates and camera factory reset. Can anyone advise on this? I want to use the E50 for mapping using DNG files, but it's no use without the gps metadata.
