Having just repaired one of my two E90's, I now have an issue with the other. Connected to the H520 the controller can see the camera, and has video feed. But the gimbal is completely limp, no resistance to movement. The gimbal controls don't work. The power LED on the camera is green and blinking about every two seconds. Tested on two H520 air-frames, so fault is in the camera. Also tried re-flashing the firmware with no result.
Any suggestions please?

The gimbal section and the camera section are pretty much independent parts of the system other than the power supply. It is fairly common for one part to work when the other part does not.

1.) Did anything happen to the E90 between the last time it worked correctly and the first time it did not.
a.) Crash/hard landing?
b.) Doing calibrations with the camera mounted and not secured by the gimbal lock?
c.) Traveling without the gimbal lock installed?
d.) Installing a firmware update other than the one mentioned above?
e.) Long storage period?
f.) Maintenance/repair?
g.) Anything else you can thing of?

2.) Is the gimbal sounding any beep codes?

3.) There is a small pin-hole LED near the upper left edge of the rear arm cover. That's the gimbal status LED. Is it lit? If so, What color (and pattern if it has one)?

Hello, and thanks for responding.
1) No - to all of the questions a-g.
2) No beep sounds from gimbal.
3) The pin-hole LED on the back cover is not lit. Just the front green LED, which blinks every 2 seconds.

That sounds like the gimbal board is dead. Replacing the gimbal board is a shop repair due to some firmware that is not available to the public. Is Yuneec GB or any other facility still available?

Thank you. I was afraid that might be the case.
There is no Yuneec in the UK any more. There is Yuneec Europe, in Germany, but they seem to be pretty un-responsive at the moment.
I appreciate that my three Yuneecs are now obsolete, and a few years old, and I am having to think about my best options for replacing them, going forward.

Is it the original E90 for H520, with standard mount?
