Thanks for this post Guys, it's helped me understand an issue I had.
After a crash (battery failure I believe) I wanted to dig out the telemetry to check. I found that all of my telemetry records in the ST16s were dated in January 2014. I also found that the photos stored in the controller were also dated Jan 2014. However the photos downloaded from the sd card in the camera have the correct date & time, except for a couple of occasions when the sd card folders were also dated 2014.
If I understand correctly - the controller has its own internal clock which needs to be managed correctly, while photo data in the camera comes from the drone's GPS module?
