FIAGNANO - ITALY

Nice scenery, beautiful area.many photographic opportunities.

Is there a story behind the tower you were flying around?
On the hill of Fiagnano, overlooking one of the most spectacular gully amphitheaters (327 m. Above sea level) rose the homonymous Castrum Flagnani formerly of the Imola Church, taken by the Bolognese in 1196, then passed to the Visconti, demolished forever in 1405, when he had succeeded in count a garrison with two captains, eight keepers and a large crossbow. All that remains is the bell tower whose bells have been transferred to the church of Zolino in Imola

Thanks! I thought it might have a lot of history behind it!
