There are some who have trouble or don't remember the process of firmware upgrade.
Here is my short little cheat sheet that has served me well. ;)

Update H before controller!

-------------------------------------
To update the H:

NOTE: May have to rename H firmware to xxxxxx.BIN extension!
-------------------------------------

Put new firmware on SD card in camera

Turn ON ST16 controller first then Drone

Select upgrade in system setup menu

Allow several minutes to upgrade

---------------------------
To update ST16 controller:

NOTE: May have to rename ST16 firmware to xxxxxx.YUNEEC extension!
---------------------------------------------

Put new firmware on SD card in controller slot

Turn on ST16 only

Select upgrade in system setup menu

Allow several minutes to upgrade

May need to rebind drone and camera after upgrade

Switch on the RC and H and wait till all the initialization completes.
Lean the TYPHOON H in the forward direction twice (45°) until the Main
LED indicator blinks orange rapidly.

In system setup hit refresh and rebind H and camera.(C-GO3 Pro)

----------------------------

Full calibrate on H after firmware has been upgraded.

And very important! Erase the H firmware and start clean on the SD Card before loading the ST16 firmware onto SD Card! Don't have the H firmware on SD Card along with the H firmware!!!;)

So having successfully installed the updates, is there a reference anywhere as to how to use the new trims for the H and the gimbal without just experimenting in the air?

Thanks for this cheat sheet, I was able to update in no time flat. I know this was posted on another thread but use a microSD card that is 32GB or smaller and formatted with FAT32.

If you download the firmware with Google Chrome the extensions are correct, (bin and Yuneec).
If you download using Internet Explorer they download with the ZIP extensions so you have to rename them.

I believe IE does this for security reasons.

There is no harm renaming the extension from ZIP to 'bin' for the H firmware and 'Yuneec' for the RC firmware.

I flew a couple of batteries today and tried the "Horizontal Cruise" using the right D-pad. It's pretty intuitive. I only flew it forward. Tap the top control and the H starts to move out. The indicator appears and shows increases or decreases as you tap the control. Make slight course corrections by tapping the left or right side. "Stir" the right stick and the H immediately stops and the indicator disappears. I believe movement is relative to the front of the H.

Chrome is already a "BIN" file, newbies should be explained or they will rename a bin! And that does not work! I know first hand;)

Yuneec UK site is only allowing v22b ST16 firmware updates, where you all getting 23b from ??

OK found it on .com site, typical putting yuneec.com into address reverts it back to UK site
