Gimbal not calibrating at all

Try creating a new model, rebind and then do all calibrations.

I tried that. The camera has video but gimbal does nothing when initiate calibration

How old is your H? Brand new? If not new, have you successfully calibrated the gimbal before? You say the camera video works... does the camera move when you use the pan and tilt controls? I'll let others chime in their thoughts.

Not on the ground the camera gimbal does nothing. I’m a little afraid to fly it with out the camera fully functioning Yes just got this 3 weeks ago

And you have not ever removed the camera in those 3 weeks? I ask because when removing/replacing the camera, one of those spring contacts between the camera and the bird can be caught pushed down... so it does not properly make contact. But you can easily yet carefully, pull that spring free with a toothpick or a small screwdriver.

If not, it is possible to do a factory reset to the controller and subsequently repeat the new model, rebind and reconnect to the ST-16 to see if the gimbal will react to controls. As far as flying, your limitation will only be in terms of being pilot's view only... as long as the camera is indeed facing forward.

If none of this works you may be making a call to Yuneec CS on Monday. Make it early... they open at 8AM PT.

Just checked the terminals. They are all sticking up and spring tension seems the same on all 6

And when you restart the H, the "RC connected" prompt does come up on the screen, before the "connecting to camera" prompt, correct? Because you can fly the H without the camera on at all...
and the entire time it will have the "connecting to camera" prompt showing on the ST-16.

To reset the st-16 back to factory...

Click on tablet screen →
Click on settings →
Click backup & restore →
Select the option to reset your ST-16 back to factory settings.

After completion, you will need to rebind the H and camera... then calibrate everything.

I’m not my brothers job moved there and he went. Job is in Davidson. MSC industrial
