GPS cross drift too high

Does anyone else get a message saying gps cross drift too high before flying, sometimes also says manual control lost. Well after these messages all flies perfectly normal. Is it something that needs calibration to prevent the error message coming up?

Yes. That is a pretty common feature if you are running the latest firmware (Late January of 2021). I've seen discussion that it may be related to the controller getting GPS fix prior to Drone getting GPS fix. Other discussion blamed it on the firmware reporting errors too early in the startup process. Mine does it all the time.

That one is not so clear-cut. I am not familiar with it.
However, if it is also occurring ONLY during startup, it may be related to the system swapping back and forth between WiFi and Analog control. If it happens in flight, it could be an actual problem and includes risk of drone loss.
There is also a similar message that says something like "loss of GPS, use manual control". That one would be a different discussion.

Thank u for fast reply as always. Yes the manual control lost also happens before flight. During flight all works as it should. The st16s talking when used with the h520 is nice but the peace of the st16s used with the h plus is also nice not to be hearing warnings . Well my one for the h plus doesn’t talk anyway. Should I be posting thing like under h520 discussions or general

Thank u. Glad it’s not just me. Surprised they didn’t remove these warnings appearing until after gps signal acquired .
