They’re starting to roll out, just not in the US yet. Some of the phone makers with Snadragon 855’s will start using it in Asia as the new network starts to become available. By the end of this year we should see the very beginnings of 5g.....but US will probably be next year.

No, nothing uses it yet. It’s a marketing thing....just “enhanced LTE”.....not really 5g.

One problem with 5G is that Huawei is the big player in the 5G market. Here in Canada, before I retires 3 years ago,we were starting to install their equipment in the Central Offices. I guess we have to wait and see how it plays out.
