I have been away from this site for awhile. I have a new GIFI Power 7000mAH Lipo that I got from Carolina Drones. It arrived half full. I charged it up to 16.6 and test flew it. With video running and mild manuvers, small amount of wind, it flew 9+30. Now I usually land at 14.7V. I realize I might get another minute if I flew it down to 14.6 but I try to take good care of my batteries.
So I charged it up to 16.6 again and flew it today. 60 degrees, video running, 10kts of wind, and more manuvering than the first time. Similar conditions to the first test flight. Got 9+20. Then I flew a Ultra X 6300mAH that was only 6 months old with not much time on it. Got 10+02. ( 14.7 ) I keep good records of my battery usage and looking back almost 2 years there have only been 2 times that I have seen over 12min. Is this normal? What are you guys seeing? Mind you that I land at 14.7V A guy who flies a DGI Maverick came by and told me his groups gets up to 30 min on their drones. How can that be? Yes they have 2 less engines but geeez....
Last question. IS there a App that Yuneec makes for a Android phone that allows you to record the video files onto the phone? Thanks! BTW, this is a Typhoon H 420
