H520e camera on a 520

Not sure about the firmware. @Enrico Jorysch may be able to answer that.
You would have to consider the controller firmware, camera firmware, and any compatibility codes Yuneec may have installed to prevent anyone from re-using equipment instead of buying new.

Otherwise, do you have a parts camera from an H520 with intact mount and slip ring? The rest at least looks the same.

The attempt failed.

I have an X Connector adapter that I mounted on the H520.
I connected an ETX thermal imaging camera and booted the H520.
Gimbal has aligned properly and I can tilt and pan the camera via the ST-16S
tilt and pan the camera... but... I have no image.

The cameras for the X Connector have no WIFI module and no built-in antenna!
The image signal is sent via the OFDM module.

So to operate the H520 with an X Connector, the OFDM module must also be installed.
Technically this can be solved... but costs a lot... X Connector and OFDM module.

In addition, the ST-16S must also be equipped with an OFDM module and the firmware for OFDM must be updated.
would have to be installed manually, as this is not implemented in the UpdatePilot.

I'll give it a try and then let you know
Thank you very much appreciated.

Again thank you for even trying it. I may look into see what costs are involved just to get a better idea

Can you share the X connector description? Via what interface the video goes thru? USB?

In doubt a part of my last question wasn't fully clear I'll ask one more time.

Via what interface the camera transfers the video to the FC or WiFi module?
A schematic diagram at least for the connections between midules will give a lot to us.

These drones are relatively cheap yet, so has a reason to explore them.
