What's the best way to validate if I was sold a H920 or H920 Plus


Very confused. The advertisment said ST24 Controller with H920 Plus.

But I received a ST16 with H920 documents


Is there serial or model number on the hardware?

The serial numbers are not conclusive. Many, many original H920 units were later converted to H920Plus.

Connect it to a Typhoon H GUI via data capable USB cord. The H920Plus will connect. The H920 will not.

The original H920 had a separate IMU module inside the shell, and a few other differences. Those require removing the top shell or at least releasing the shell screws and tilting the top enough to see inside.

It connects looks like. I need to purchase a camera for H920 and wanted to confirm if I had a H920Plus or not

So it is compatible with CG04 then cool...Do you recommond the ST24 or ST16 controller?

ST16 is for H920+. It' recommended to use this for the H920+.

ST24 is older and came with the H920 (w/o +).

And now comes the sad reality of the H920 saga.
Yuneec took inexplicable shortcuts in the appearance and labeling of the components related to the H920 series. All the external labels are the same between the versions. Just as you had problems identifying which version of the H920 you had, sellers also have lots of problems knowing which versions they have.
There is no practical way to really know which version you are buying. Your only hope is to deal with an established seller who will accept a return.

Collegalo a un Typhoon H GUI tramite un cavo USB con capacità dati. L'H920Plus si collegherà. L'H920 n....... ma oltre a questo modo ( H GUI ) che è Giusto è possibile qualche foto interna del h 920 plus ...che una foto per h 920 per vedere il collegameto IMU perche sui social e tube non riesco a trovarle .Grazie

The H920 n ....... but in addition to this way (H GUI) which is right it is possible some internal photos of the h 920 plus ... that a photo for h 920 to see the IMU connection because on social and tube I can't find them. The ST16S will not work with the H920 series.

The ST16/ST16plus is the best controller for an H920Plus. The ST16 and ST16Plus are the same controller with a cosmetic difference in the number of antennas. The ST16 has the "third" antenna mounted inside, out of sight. The ST16plus has the "third" antenna outside.
