Halloween Drone

That is funny and I agree you hope nothing gets caught up in your props
 
I was concerned about the dress getting in the props as well. Turned out that the downward push of air from the props keeps the dress safely away. The only concern is at landing when you get up-draft. Best to catch by hand. This is why I was testing in an open field before attempting to fly in a neighborhood. Performance was fine.

Interesting note, I feel like this flight was under the worst case since the winds were gusting 20+ MPH. Note the tilt of the TH as it negotiates the wind with no problem, even with a scary skeleton/ghost/witch hanging from the gear.

PS: I removed the camera as a monetary safety precaution.
 
Did it last year and this year again with a 350qx. No issues with getting caught in the blades.
 
I still think it's too funny.
