Little late to the show, because I’ve owned my Q500 for a good while now, and I am just now registering to the Yuneec forums. I guess better late than never.
I believe I bought my Q500 about 9-10 years ago, when it was “Competing” with the Phantom. I think that was the name of the “Popular” drone when I was looking to buy one. Didn’t know about Yuneec until I went to a hobby store. I seen the Q500 and was “In love” as soon as I saw it, lol.
Since then I’ve bought a couple of cheap drone that are ok, after I get them to fly. When I say cheap, I’m talking about under 200.00
To be honest, I wish I would have never bought them. It takes so much just to get them going. So hard to get them to connect to the transmitter. Very frustrating at times. I’m not going to name them, I don’t want to bash another company in my first post.
Anyway, I’m adding to my drone fleet again, but this time I bought a Typhoon H pro. I can’t wait for it to get here.
On a different note, I’m studying to get my part 107 certification. I think I could pass it without doing much studying, only because I studied for my “Private pilots” license and I am familiar with the maps and other info already, and from what I’ve seen a lot of the questions are “Common” sense answers, as long as someone is familiar with the subjects. But I’m still going to study, and make sure I know everything I need to know before taking the test.
I live in the states, FL to be “Some what” exact. lol
