Even if it would work on the 480, I wouldn't recommend it. The H Plus is designed to carry it and the 480 is not. The Plus is a much more robust machine with more power and longer flight times.Hi all. Anyone know if you can use the c23 camera w/ H480? Thanx
Goofy as heck ain't it? The C23 shows as an option for the original H on Yuneec's UK website but nowhere to order it. Looks pricey as heck though if you could. Weight is only 20g heavier than a CGO3+. Well within payload capabilities for an original H.
Of course there's no consumer available software created to actually run a C23 on a H so there's that little problem too. Methinks Yuneec has it (a C23 for TH), has the software patch, but won't release it because it'd impact sales of higher end products that come with the C23 as a base camera. Customer manipulation at it's capitalist core.
For the cost of the camera to put on the TH, you can buy the camera and TH Plus for not much more. It kind of like buying ink for inkjet printers. For a small amount more than the ink cartridges you can buy a whole new printer with ink included.
If you’re not buying these, you’re throwing your money away. I’ve been using them for 4 years now. They’re perfectly good.

Unless you get a shop selling them off cheap £199 for camera RRP £599.Thanks FG. Good info to have.
The analogy still holds though, because there are no discount replacements for the cameras on our UAV’s.
