I found this article and was surprised by how much detail there was especially if you follow the links in the article. If this doesn't belong here I'm hoping one of the moderators will move it to a more appropriate place.

Don't freak out because of all the references to DJI.... they are the market leader in consumer drones afterall. There are references to Yuneec as well.

The new technology being introduced or in near future is amazing! The VTOL is the next major phase, I’m really hoping the Autel Kestrel takes off before DJI takes market on VTOL.

With the VTOL series, the belly lined senors with Multispectrum, Thermo IR, Starlight Nightvison, multiple lenses, etc will become more common and the size & design will provide increased battery storage and efficiency due to aerodynamics.

Hopefully Yuneec is on the technology path too, we really need multiple brands to stimulate design, and competitive costs.
