I have a Yuneec typhoon H plus, is there no one in the usa that does repairs ?
Did i get burn buying this coptor, only had it for 3 months, bought used.

Explain what problems your experiencing or if you have damage.
I had a crash, camera detach from drone, wires showing, real sense seems to be off, copter takes a long time to connect 11 satellites, or want connect at all even on sunny day

Pictures of the damage will help. especially the "wires showing".

GPS can have a host of reasons. Did the time to connect GPS get worse AFTER the crash?

RealSense is not generally considered much of a priority. Do you have a special need for it? Damage to RealSense can be repaired or replaced, but many disconnect and remove it even if it is working properly. (Opinions may vary) Also note RealSense does not work much at first. It builds a map of the area during repeated flights through the same area. If you have not flown the same area multiple times. it is normal for RealSense to "seem off".

Due to the repair shops being out of business now, i feel compelled to tell you we offer a comprehensive repair service similar to what john from yuneec skins had offered for many years.

AMEN to that! Take that real sense and toss it in the trash.
I have spent a lot of time with the real sense module, john would always tell me the same thing. It’s a WASTE of battery, space, and overall is power hungry, and offers less protection and “avoidance” than people realize… Until they crash.

I think there’s a good time and place for the module, however 90% of use cases do not require it.

On the other hand, I wish there was a way to add downward facing Lidar or 360° lidar, but given the discontinuation of both the drone itself and the real sense modules, it’s a shot in the dark.
It would be very cool to see someone modify it to have better functionality when it comes to legitimate obstacle avoidance!

I am sure there is a way to add the Lidar, but I have never heard anyone do it. To be honest about the realsense, it is a nice little module to use if the drone is in follow me mode, and there are a lot of obstacles.

I’m not sure with typhoon, i’m sure it would be a process. The motherboard is locked down pretty decent from what i’ve seen, still able to be flashed with new PIX firmware as another user has proved (thunderbird project)

I do know both the pixhawk 2.4.6, pixhawk v5+ combined with the TF-LUNA (started with the mini, 0.2-30meters)

It was the best, low power lidar module i’ve worked with and it was so easy to setup. literally just plugged it in and defined which module it was in parameters.

I am looking for some decent priced 360° lidar or longer range laser-range fingers.

It really makes the difference between a clean and reliable landing and a rough manual landing or rough automatic landing without downward facing lidar.
I wish I could get similar setup for pix. I’ve been looking at using the motors/body and a pixhawk v5+/neo3 gps combo

it’ll be a project forsure, in between repairs with mobiletechspecialists i’ll definitely post updates on the forum.

A $100 pixhawk 2.4.6 is $120ish and I could definitely make conversion kits for under $350. It’s something i’m looking into
