Good luck with your new baby. I bought a basic Typhoon H and added the realsense module, bought a wizard, case, extra batteries. It is a great bird

Thank you, i'l be reading this cover to cover, maybe twice... I don't seem to retain info quite as easily as I used to.

I did already run into an oddity I'm hoping is just me not understanding the system instead of it being wonky.

Sit down with that manual.....and power up the controller and aircraft (no props, don’t start motors), and as you go through the manual make sure you can identify everything that the manual is talking about. Spend the time on a quality “familiarization session” and you’ll be well prepared for your first flight.

DON'T FLY IN SMART MODE!, until you understand characteristics of that particular mode.
Fly in Angle mode for now.
