iPhone app shuts down

Anyone had the iPhone app shutdown mid flight?
Whilst in sports mode at about 100-120m distance and 20m altitude the phone app just shut down and it continued to fly away.
Heart stopping moment!!!!
Run towards it and hit the RTH and it came back.
This is the second time it has done this and seems to be in sports mode.

As a suggestion place the phone in airplane mode, then just enable the WiFi to connect with the Mantis. This has solved a lot of weird problems with those flying the Breeze and may be worth a try.

I would still be contacting Yuneec CS and filing a complaint about this behavior.

Good to hear!

You should still file a report with Yuneec. That type of behavior from an app is unacceptable and should be corrected.

Also use the rating system on the App Store to give a less than stellar rating, explaining why the poor rating was given.
