Is this prop shadow?

Took some video today and experienced this. Was new to me and different than jello that I had seen before.
Today's effect was generally experienced when aiming toward the sun.

Unlikely to be props. They're easy to spot. This doesn't look like props to me.

Shooting into the sun you will get "lens flare" but this doesn't look much like normal lens flare to me.

What settings were you using for the video?

Does this show up in more of the video?

We you using an ND filter?

I was using auto and 30 fps.
After reviewing the other footage it does show up multiple times, but always at roughly the same camera angles relative to sun and horizon.
I was not using an ND filter.
I'll go back tomorrow, wind permitting, and have some more time for experimentation.

Agree, but if it was a sensor burn I would expect it to be there always.
It's a good practice to format the sd card after every flight.
