Wow that is a big assumption that they are clearly sold to break the law . You MUST BEE an FAA troll .

You really need to find a better way to express your opinion, than what is quoted above.

Troll or not, what he is stating about them being illegal unless you possess the proper Amateur Radio license is true. That the FCC has not gone after the producers or those that use them illegally is immaterial. If you use it you are subject to prosecution if the FCC so chooses.

Thankyou, we try to remain respectful of each other.

Some that have been around quite some time will poke barbs at each other in fun, but only after knowing each other for a considerable length of time. As a rule, it’s better not to do it as it can be easily misinterpreted.

So many of us forget that we all do stupid stuff. It's when that stupid stuff causes violations of people's rights, their property, their persons or the environment that gov't should get involved. Unfortunately the gov't has sold us a bill of goods and thinks that we should pay them for not wearing a seatbelt. Name 1 person who's committed a real crime for not wearing their seatbelt?

Don't see the gov't ticketing motorcycle riders for not wearing a seatbelt! It's time for us to put back gov't into pandora's box.
