Lost Video

Had a great flight, but forgot to turn camera off before shutting down. No video file. Have I lost it?

Did you check the ST16? I did that once and the vid was on my controller

The vid on the controller is just the 720p feed, so don't use that for production.
You can sometimes recover a video file on the main camera just by re-powering the craft, and then start and stop a new video record, which usually closes the one before it.

If you turn on the ST16, then the H, when all is up and running just take a short video, stop it and then shut the H down. Most times you will find your previous video is then on the SD card.

What happens is that in the out of sequence scenario the H fails to write an end of file marker for the video.
