Mantis q range stock in rural area

I am looking into buying one and reading so much about WiFi this lightbride that , I would like to know what to expect fresh out the box from the drone. I would hate to literally see my money fly away on me . I’m not trying to fly to the moon etc or across a state. I just wanna see how much it can compete with a mavic or typhoon h plus

Its range is stated up to 800m in ideal conditions, which is way beyond line of sight, but it can't compete with a Mavic at all, which can fly about 4 times as far. The TH+ is somewhere in between with a max range of about 1.6 km.

It depends if FCC or CE version.
Fcc can go to 1,5 km in open field.
CE barely can reach 400 meters.
